Who can wear waist beads?
Anyone can wear our waist beads and accessories.
What material is used to create your waist beads?
Our waist beads are made with 100% cotton strand. This is what our ancestors been using for decades. We also have a small selection that is made with elastic stretch string. This will also be listed in the product description.
We also have a collection of elastic stretch waist beads, and non stretch wire that are removable. This would be found in our waist bead with metal clasp collection.
Are your waist beads adjustable?
Yes, our waist beads measure from 40 inches to 51 inches and can be adjusted to your desired size. All lengths of the beads are in the product description. Please use a soft tape measure to obtain an accurate measurement of your waist prior to purchase to ensure they will fit you. Depending on your waist size, there may be left over exposed string which can be used to create a anklet or bracelet. If your waist measurements exceeds the length of the waist beads, you can purchase 2 strands and tie both beads together to wear your beads. We also have a collection of 60-70 inches waist beads. What else can we use our waist beads for?
Depending on your waist size and the length of the waist beads, you can also use the left-over beads to create an ankle bracelet or a hand bracelet.
How do I remove my waist beads? Will I be able to shower and exercise with my waist beads?
Yes, you can shower and exercise while wearing your waist beads. You can do just about anything while wearing your waist beads. Traditionally, once we tie our waist beads, we do not remove them. They are meant to stay on for long term use. If you would like to have the option to remove your waist beads, please tie your waist beads at your lower hip so that you can remove them over your head. You can also purchase our custom waist beads and or our waist beads with the clasp.
Can I use my waist beads for weight loss?
Sure! We support all people that are on a journey to improve their health as we believe health is wealth. For those that choose to wear their waist beads for weight loss, we recommend that you place your beads on your high hip and waist so that as your weight decrease, you can actually see your progress as your waist beads will begin to drop. Please share your weight loss journey with us via Instagram, we would love to share it for motivational purposes.
Do you take custom orders for waist beads?
Sure, We can personalize your waist beads just for you. Please visit " The Elegance Of The African Waist Bead Collection" and select custom waist beads to place your order. We will make initial contact within 24 - 48 hours or you can also contact us via the contact page. For all custom orders please allow 7-14 days for completion of order.
What currency are the prices do I see in the site?
All prices are in USD.
I just placed an order, when will it ship?
We try our best to ship items as fast as we can. Please allow 4-7 days production time for your order to ship out, average shipping times are 15-21 days. Tracking numbers will be updated 3-5 days after your order has been SHIPPED. If you don't have a tracking number after 7 business please email us at sales@accessoriesbyjj.com.
I am not in love with my order, can it be returned? What if there is an issue?
Due to the nature of our products and hygienic reasons, we do not provide refunds. We closely examine our products prior to shipping. We will make exceptions to particular circumstances case by case scenarios. Please email us with any concerns about your purchase. If a refund is approved it will have to be within 7 days of purchase. Your item MUST be unused and unworn in the same condition the item was received. You must ship it back at your own expense. Once we have received the product we will refund the full amount of your original purchase. Please include the name and order number on the returned parcels.
Please note: If your package is on the way, you must wait for it to arrive and return it before receiving a refund. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can not guarantee that we will receive your item.

Can I cancel my order?
You are able to cancel your order with no penalty! You must cancel your order
before it ships. If the item is already sent please contact us as soon as possible.
I have entered an incorrect address what do I do now?
If you have miss spelled or auto filled in a incorrect address, simply reply to your order conformation email and confirm. Once you double check if the address given is wrong kindly notify us via email at sales@accessoriesbyjj.com. If the given address is wrong we can change the address to the correct one within 24 hours. No refund will be given after the 24 hours of incorrect submission.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping times vary as we do ship worldwide from different fulfillment centers based on your location. The average shipping time is 15-25 business days.

Is same day delivery available?
Yes! Accessories By JJ LLC. is offering same day customer pick up for customers that live in the Georgia area.
Please Note: For same day delivery options must purchase a limit of 100.00 dollars. Customer pick up does not have a spending limit. Customers can pick up their purchase upon request. Please contact us prior to submission of purchase, if you would like to utilize this option.
